Lyrics: BEAUTIFUL WORLD

RAIN FOREST

words and music by Wendy Rose Baldinger
c & p Wendy Rose Baldinger 1993

Rain forest, rain forest,
Rain forest, tropical and green
Rain forest, wonders to be seen.
Rain forest, rain fallin‚ down
Rain forest, Rain forest, stick around

We're going down to where the monkeys swing
Orangutan are doin‚ their thing.
I want to see a parrot fly.
Beautiful colors as it passes by.

Chorus

A lizard and snake livin‚ in the trees
Orchids swayin‚ in the breeze.
A hummingbird and Toucan you can see.
In the tropical rain forest family.

We get brazil nuts and cashews.
So many kinds of medicine that we use.
So important for our water and air.
What would we do if it wasn‚t there?
chorus

LOOK AT IT SNOW

words and music by Wendy Rose Baldinger
c & p Wendy Rose Baldinger 1993

Look at it snow, I think it's neat. It's falling fast, it can‚t be beat.
I love that thrill, that first big chill
And grabbin‚ our toboggan, slidin‚ down that hill. It's so exciting!

What's the reason for snow?
It's my favorite toy.
I'm so glad that there is some for us to enjoy.
What's the reason for snow?
It's my favorite toy.
I'm so glad that there is some for us to enjoy.

Let's jump right in, A snow ball fight, and if we win, We're doin‚ something right.
Let's make snow angels and a snowman too.
A a corn cob pipe and top hat, there's so much to do. I really like it! Chorus

Slide down that hill, Pull icicles down.
Never mind the chill. It's covered the whole town.
We'll play together. Should we ski or skate?
And when we walk on snow drifts we sink to our waists. It's so exciting! Chorus

BEAUTIFUL WORLD

words and music by Wendy Rose Baldinger
c & p Wendy Rose Baldinger 1993

Beautiful world, beautiful world
Let's enjoy our beautiful world.
Jump up, feel the sunshine. Clap your hands every boy and girl.
Feel the wind through your fingers. Let's enjoy our beautiful world.
See the trees, Let's start swayin‚ In the breeze, hear a rustle and a swirl
Clap your hands as we were sayin‚ let's enjoy our beautiful world.
And then the rain goes pitter, patter, You can find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow we've been told.
We can listen to the birdies as they sing their sweet new song
And if you feel the urge you can sing along.
Beautiful world, beautiful world
Let's enjoy our beautiful world.

Swim like a salmon headin‚ out to the sea
Chatterin‚ chimps climb in the trees and then you run like a cheetah. Hear the lion roar. Up in the sky watch an eagle soar.
Beautiful world, beautiful world
Let's enjoy our beautiful world.
We can climb the highest mountain and we reach up to the clouds.
Can you hear the echo? Make it loud.
Walking through a sandy desert as the sun is setting low.
See the yellow, red and orange. Quite a show.
Beautiful world, beautiful world
Let's enjoy our beautiful world.

I SEE A TREE

words and music by Wendy Rose Baldinger
c & p Wendy Rose Baldinger 1993

I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
You can think of some things and then we'll add some more.

We get wood from a tree so let's build a chair
A book case and a violin and chopsticks by the pair
We get paper from a tree so we read a book.
Newspapers, magazines, come and take a look.

I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
You can think of some things and then we'll add some more.

Let's taste the fruit from a tree, Is it sour, is it sweet?
Lemons, apples, oranges, the plums look good to eat.
I sit under the shady tree and strum my song. Listen to the perching birds sing along.
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
You can think of some things and then we'll add some more.

Maple and birch, Willow and pine, cedar and oak.
Don‚t lose a forest, plant a tree.

We get oxygen Whooh. breath in breath out
We see beauty in the trees. Makes me want to shout.
Build a tree house in our tree or we'll hang a swing.
Lyin‚ in the shade. Everybody sing.

I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
I see a tree tell me, tell me what is it for?
You can think of some things and then we'll add some more.

WE'VE GOT TO GIVE BACK

words and music by Wendy Rose Baldinger
c & p Wendy Rose Baldinger 1991

I can sing you all about flowers
I can show you so many trees
I can listen to all the birdies
I can sing and show you these.
We've got to give back, make the world better.
We've got to give back, It's our chance to give.
We've got to give back, We can work harder.
We've got to give back, so we can live.

We can plant or trample the flowers.
We can plant or chop down the trees.
But if you want to hear any birdies, we've got to take care of these.
We've got to give back, make the world better.
We've got to give back, It's our chance to give.
We've got to give back, We can work harder.
We've got to give back, so we can live.

Now's the time to make a stand. Now's the time to care for our land.

TREASURE

words and music by Wendy Rose Baldinger
c & p Wendy Rose Baldinger 1993

Rabbit was walking with his friend Mister Squirrel.
They were talking about their lovely woodsy world.
And then they spotted their friend Rocky, the resident raccoon.
Digging through a pile of trash by the light of the moon.
"How can he do that?" said Rabbit to Squirrel with alarm!
"I would never do that!" So Rocky replied with all his charm.

"What's trash to you my friend is a treasure to me.
What you may turn your back on makes me happy."

Robin was flying, catching worms for the babies at home.
Working since sunup Robin didn‚t want to leave them alone.
But as the sun was setting quickly, she came back to her nest.
Getting all settled and ready for an evening of rest.
"How can you sleep right now?" Said owl with a watchful eye.
"As the sun goes down and the moon starts climbing I get ready to fly."

"What's bedtime for you my friend is busy for me.
And when I rest my head that makes me happy."

It can make us wonder and we might ask why.
So many different likes and ways under the same sky.

"What's trash to you my friend is a treasure to me.
What you may turn your back on makes me happy."

For show and tell at school, I got to bring my pet.
I kept him hidden. No one knew what to expect.
As I walked up to the front, I showed my pet snake.
I heard the teacher crying out "This is a mistake."

"What's trash to you my friend is a treasure to me.
What you may turn your back on makes me happy."
