ALLIGATOR SNAP

First you put your green shoes on your feet,
Now stand up and put on your hat.
Straighten up your bow tie. You look sweet.
It's time to have a little chat.
Don't get lazy sleepin' out in the sun,
It's time to have some fun.
Do the alligator snap, snap, snap, alligator snap uh, huh
snap, snap, alligator snap uh, huh
snap, snap, alligator snap uh, huh
snap, snap, alligator snap
'Cause if you know how to clap, you can alligator snap.
snap, snap, alligator snap uh, huh
snap, snap, alligator snap.

2.  Now we’ve got you snappin’ in the groove
Add a tap to that sound.
Find another gator on the move.  You can dance around.
No one should be sleepin’ out in the sand.
It’s time to lend a hand.
Do the alligator snap, snap, snap, alligator snap uh, huh
snap, snap, alligator snap uh, huh
snap, snap, alligator snap uh, huh
snap, snap, alligator snap
'Cause if you know how to clap, you can alligator snap.
snap, snap, alligator snap uh, huh
snap, snap, alligator snap.

NOTHIN’

Here’s the story ‘bout Jumpin’ Bean Jake.
Tellin’ tales was his big mistake.
It started out as just a little white lie.
But it kept on growin’ till it reached the sky.
Tell me what you’re doin’.   Nothin’!
Tell me what’s been ruined. Nothin’
I’ve been hearin’ funny noises and some crashin’ of some toys.
And you believe it’s absolutely nothin’.  Nothin’.
Jake was hungry, those cookies look great.
He grabbed a handful, then he sat down and ate.
He went to get some more from the jar.
But It came down a crashin’ and he didn’t get far.
Tell me what you’re doin’.   Nothin’!
Tell me what’s been ruined. Nothin’
I’ve been hearin’ funny noises and some crashin’ of some toys.
But you’ve been doin’ absolutely nothin’.  Nothin’.
In came sis she was hungry, too.
Jake looked at sis, he didn’t know what to do.
In came sis she was hungry, too.
Jake looked at sis, he didn’t know what to do.
He started telling a bit of a yarn,
And it kept on growin’ as big as a barn
Tell me what you’re doin’.   Nothin’!
Tell me what’s been ruined. Nothin’
I’ve been hearin’ funny noises and some crashin’ of some toys.
But you’ve been doin’ absolutely nothin’.  Nothin’.
Now Mom and Dad, they entered the scene.
They didn’t look happy, in fact they looked mean.
You mean to tell me that a great big brown moose,
Ate all of our cookies and drank all out juice.
You say sis was playing with the ball and the bat.
You say that she was pitcher to the dog and the cat
And when the kitty went up to get the ball near the door,
She landed on the cookie jar and crashed to the floor.
Tell me what you’re doin’.   Nothin’!
Tell me what’s been ruined. Nothin’
I’ve been hearin’ funny noises and some crashin’ of some toys.
But you’ve been doin’ absolutely nothin’.  Nothin’.
Jake’s servin’ time now, He’s cleanin’ his room.
Later on he’s got a date with a broom.
He’s learned how to keep trouble away,
Cause he snacks on Nothin but an apple a day.
Chorus 2x

Wiggle, jiggle and jam!

What do you do in the morning?
What do you do at night?
What do you do in the middle of the day that makes you feel all right?
You start to wiggle, jiggle and jam! Yes you do.
You start to wiggle, jiggle and jam! I can too.
Shake it in the middle and wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, jiggle and jam!
Sometimes I like to play baseball.
Sometimes I’m watching T.V.
But right in the middle of a video game, something happens to me.
I start to wiggle, jiggle and jam! Yes I do.
I start to wiggle, jiggle and jam! You can too.
Shake it in the middle and wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, jiggle and jam!
Sometimes we’re playing with legos.
Sometimes we’re out at the park.
But underneath the covers, late at night
When the room gets dark
You start to wiggle, jiggle and jam! Yes you do.
You start to wiggle, jiggle and jam! I can too.
Shake it in the middle and wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, jiggle and jam!
I might be reading a book, or watching cartoons.
I might be out shooting hoops, till late afternoon.
But especially when I’m singing a funky song
I just stop and bop along.  Yes I do, You can too, Yes it’s true, after you
I start to wiggle, jiggle and jam! Yes I do.
I start to wiggle, jiggle and jam! You can too.
Shake it in the middle and wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, jiggle and jam!

I LOVE MY APPLES

I love my apples, I love ‘em baked in a pie.
I love my apples, I love ‘em  piled up high
I love my apples, I love ‘em  everyway.
I love my apples, every day.
I love my apples, I love ‘em baked in a crust
I love my apples, applesauce is a must.
I love my apples, I love ‘em everyway
I love my apples, every day
I love ‘em in the spring time
I love ‘em in the fall
I really love my apples, I’m gonna eat ‘em all
Green or red or yellow.  Tart or crisp or sweet.
I’m only really happy, as long as I can eat
All of my apples, I’ll have some juice to drink.
Or maybe cider.  Tell me what do you think?
I love my apples, I love ‘em everyway
I love my apples, every day. I love my apples, every day.

DELECTABLE FRUIT

I like some fruit.  I eat delicious fruit.  Give me some fruit.
Some delightful fruit.  Some from the tree some from the vine.
It brings me sunshine all of the time.
I eat my fruit.  My delectable fruit.
My bananas start the day.  I eat the kiwi right away.
I save the Mango for the night.  And tangerine in the moonlight.
I try the melon or the pear sitting out in the evening air.
I eat my fruit, my delectable fruit.
Give me some fruit.  I eat delicious fruit.  I like that fruit.
That delightful fruit.  Some from the tree some from the vine.
It brings me sunshine all of the time.
I eat my fruit.  My delectable fruit. Now for citrus I’ve got lime.
I eat the orange all the time.
I peel my grapes when I want sweet.  Pineapple’s also good to eat.
I chew the cherries, oh so red.  Strawberries, too. Right before bed.
I eat my fruit.     My delectable fruit.
Grapefruit, it’s a little sour.  Apples, I eat them on the hour.
Peaches give me extra power through the day.
Apricot it’s so very nice.  Watermellon, it’s so good on ice.
Cantelope, full of vitamin A.
Give me some fruit.  I eat delicious fruit.  I like that fruit.
Some delightful fruit.  Some from the tree some from the vine.
It brings me sunshine all of the time.
I eat my fruit.  My delectable fruit.

You lick your lollipop, too.
Turtle Wiggle
The turtle’s walking very slow
We are not even sure if he can go.
But put him in the water, then you’ll see,
He’s doing the turtle wiggle.
And he likes to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, do the turtle wiggle.
And he likes to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, do the turtle wiggle.
The turtle likes to live outside.
Sometimes in his shell, he wants to hide
But put him in the water, then you’ll see,
He’s doing the turtle wiggle.
And he likes to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, do the turtle wiggle.
And he likes to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, do the turtle wiggle.
The turtle sleeps inside his shell
When he’s movin’ he does it well.
So put him in the water, then you’ll see,
He’s doing the turtle wiggle.
And he likes to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, do the turtle wiggle.
He likes to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, do the turtle wiggle.

RAINDROPS

My fingers are the raindrops, drip, drop, drip, drop.
My fingers are the raindrops, drip, drop, drip, drop.
My arms are the sunshine golden and round.
My arms are the sunshine golden and round.
They sweep into a rainbow, beautiful colors.
They sweep into a rainbow, beautiful colors.
Red, orange, yellow, green blue and purple
arc in the sky then touch the ground.
Red, orange, yellow, green blue and purple
arc in the sky then touch the ground.

WATER FROM THE TAP

Some people like to drink hot coffee, Other people like a cup of tea.
Milk goes great with a plate of cookies,
but there’s just one drink that satisfies me.
What do I drink?  Water. What do I drink?  Water.
Water from the tap when I get thirsty.
Water from a bottle, that’s what I think
Water from a glass, please hold the lemon.
Icy cool water that’s what I drink.
What do I drink?  Water. What do I drink?
Water. Icy or hot from a tap or a bottle.
Icy cool water that’s what I drink.
Don’t give me no soda.  Oh no.  No lemonade or cola, that won’t do.
Don’t give me no , powerade, Orangeade, Gatorade.
Just one drink, I’m tellin’ you. Oh
What do I drink?  Water. What do I drink?  Water.
Icy or hot from a tap or a bottle.
Icy cool water that’s what I drink.
Icy cool water that’s what I drink.

SAIL ON

Sail on, sail on, sail on
On the waves that lift me up with all my friends
Sail on, sail on, sail on
And the waves that lift me up will surely bring me home again.
My mom said, “Dear it’s time for bed.   So go on and go to sleep.”
But I wasn’t tired and adventure called me to the ocean deep.
I brought by bear and my doggy, too in my sailboat I did go.
And I sailed out on the ocean waves rocking to and fro.
I came upon a mighty whale. He gave me quite a fright,
When he lifted up that mighty tale.  He tossed me in the night.
But he kept me safe in my little boat and said are you okay.  I said I’m fine, no
worries here and he sent me on my way.  So I (Chorus)
Then I saw the dolphins playing tricks as they rise above the sea
Splash and dive in the ocean that is sparkling with green.
An Octopus, a starfish and the sharks with pointy teeth.
I laughed along with the turtles playing in the coral reef.
But I was on a treasure hunt, Who knows what I might see.
Golden coins or silver cups were calling out to me.

(Chorus)
Now I spied a treasure on a ship. A Pirate ship, alas.
A cannon fired on my boat and rocked me with its splash
But my friend the whale came swimming by and put me on his tale
And he gently set me down again so I could set my sail
I know its time to say good bye.  My journey’s near its end.
I thanked the whale for saving me. He’ll always be my friend.
I waved good bye to the dolphins and the turtles on my way.
I hugged my bear and my little dog  and now I have to say:  Chorus
And I noticed that my head was resting gently on my bed.
And I must have fallen fast asleep when the pillow touched my head.
And it wasn’t just that mighty whale that saved me on my way.
When my parents wish me pleasant dreams They always like to say..
Sail on, sail on, sail on
On the waves that lift you up with all your friends
Sail on, sail on, sail on
May the waves that lift you up will be sure to bring you home again
